Forest / JungleSome of the largest and oldest clans live within forest territories. Reepuls living in these regions generally make their nests high in trees, in the most remote locations. Being so secluded from the rest of the world allows these dragons to live quite peacefully and become the apex creatures of their environment. Forest regions include similar biomes like Jungles and Swamps.
Common Diet: Deer, Wolf, Bear, Leopard, Raccoon, Rabbit, Fox, Birds, Reptiles, Berries, Fruits |
MountainOne of the more harsh environments that reepuls can call home. Mountain reepuls usually sport thicker coats and more natural colors. They create their dens within mountain caves, some of which are connected with huge networks. These dragons have mastered ways to combat the cold they live in, and it is believed that along with the forests, some of the most ancient dragons live here.
Common Diet: Ram, Caribou, Bear, Wolf, Rabbit, Fox, Birds, Roots, Berries |
DesertThe deserts of the world are another harsh environment to call home. Desert born reepuls usually sport shorter coats, but with more fur coverage as their skin is still prone to sunburn. The reepuls here nest underground, often in large connected tunnels with deep underground water sources. As food can also be scarce, they will often dry and preserve what meats they catch and commonly feed off desert plants and cactus as well.
Common Diet: Cactus, Roots, Gemsbok, Antelope, Camel, Small Reptiles, Insects |
CoastalWith their long bodies reepuls actually make quite adept swimmers. Coastal reepuls make their nests along the rocky cliff faces that overhang the seas, or within lower cave systems, just out of the water's reach. All reepuls must breathe air, but some of the most water loving individuals can spend days out in the waters. These Reepuls have become the masters of fishing, but the oceans provide other great resources as well.
Common Diet: Seal, Shark, Alligator, Crustaceans, Fish, Birds, Seaweed |
CityReepuls have only recently started invading and trying to make a home within man-made cities. Large tribes are usually unheard of within city limits, and those that do live here are usually stunted in growth. While the humans provide an abundant source of food and creature comforts, they also prove to be a constant danger. However, the less common, 'designer pet' toy reepuls usually live here quite harmoniously with their owners.
Common Diet: Rats, Raccoon, Opossum, Rabbits, Squirrels, Birds, Pets, Fruit, Human Food |
